Films and video give you an opportunity to expand your influence exponentially, within a very short period of time. Visual storytelling is an essential tool for creating awareness and sharing your story with a larger audience. Most importantly, it serves as an aid in raising funds, attracting volunteers, and finding the right support for your idea.
For Change-makers & Dreamers
We are conducting a film lab to help you learn to create films that create change. The lab is designed as a practical hands-on approach where the participants will work on their individual films as well as a group film. Over a course of 7 weeks you will be guided through online mentoring sessions.
The sessions will cover the basics of filmmaking which includes: Story-telling, Camera, Direction, Editing, Production and also Raising Funds to make your film and ways to Promote & Distribute it. The workshop will not only show you how to create compelling videos on issues that you are passionate about but serve as a mentoring program to review your work individually and enhance your skillset.
Workshop Details
Duration: 7 Weeks with 2 online interaction sessions per week.
Timing: Thursday Theory: 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm | Sundays: Review of Individual Progress
Number of participants: 5-7 Participants only
Location: The 2021 lab is limited to participants in Delhi/NCR area only
Price: The Price for the this mentoring is based on gift culture. Pay what suits you. However, selected participants will need to keep a deposit of INR 5,000/- with us, which is refundable on course completion.

Film-making Workshop Requirements

3. Access to a laptop / computer for editing your films
*Note: No prior experience in filmmaking is necessary, but if you have creative interests linked to filmmaking, it will be an added bonus.
