We live in an age of smartphones, but only a few people know how to harness the potential of their camera effectively. Films and visuals give us a unique opportunity for sharing our story with a larger audience and creating awareness as well as action.
Let’s learn how to use the visual medium to create a positive change for our lives as well as our planet. The aim is to create campaigns that highlight important issues, promote solutions, attract volunteers, and bring the right support for your idea.
For Change-makers & Dreamers of Pune
We are conducting a unique film lab to help you learn to create films that create change. The lab is designed as a practical hands-on approach where the participants will work on their individual films as well as a group film. Over a course of 7 days you will be guided through a 1-hour online mentoring session each day.
The sessions will cover the basics of filmmaking which includes: Story-telling, Camera, Direction, Editing, Production. You will also learn the art of Creating Campaigns and measuring their effectiveness.
The eco film lab is specially designed for people who have been part of environmental campaigns earlier and would like to enhance their skills.
Eco Film Lab Details
*Dates: 24th Nov 2023 – to 30th Nov 2023
Duration: 7 Days with 1 Hour online interaction session each day.
Timing: 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm on all days
Number of participants: 7 Participants only
Location: The Nov’23 lab is limited to people from PUNE only
Price: The film lab is based on gift culture. If you find value in it, you can pay what suits you – but it is optional.
Film-making Workshop Requirements
1. Commitment and a passion for nature.
2. A camera or cell phone that records HD video.
3. Access to a laptop / computer for editing your films
*Note: No prior experience in filmmaking is necessary, but if you have creative interests linked to filmmaking, it will be an added bonus.
